Public Health Update 12th March 2020 - when to stay at home

Christ's School is Open

We are asking staff and students to follow the updated advice about when to stay at home.  Please visit www.gov.uk to view the updated advice.

If your child has symptoms as described below, please ensure that you inform the school by phoning 020 8940 6982 and selecting Option 1 to leave a message or by reporting your child's absence on the EdulinkOne App.

Symptoms

The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of:

  • new continuous cough and/or
  • high temperature

For most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild infection

Key messages

  • if you have symptoms of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started.
