Admissions Consultation 2022-23
Consultation for changes to Year 7-11 Admissions Criteria for 2022/23 onwards
The Governing Body at Christ’s School would like to change the admissions criteria for entry into Years 7-11 from 2022/23 onwards. The changes proposed to the criteria are detailed below.
- The definition of a Regular Worshipper has been amended to reflect situations where exceptional circumstances out with the applicant’s control have prevented them from attending regular worship. In this instance, the relevant Minister will determine whether or not there were exceptional circumstances.
- The wording regarding the Admission of children out with their chronological age group has been amended to provide greater clarity regarding the process
- The method of delivery for submission of Christian Foundation Supplementary Information Forms has been updated to include email.
- The Christian Foundation Supplementary Information Form (SIF) has been amended. The Ministerial Reference is no longer a separate form but has been incorporated into the SIF in order to bring it more into line with the Southwark Diocese Template SIF.
A copy of the proposed policy and supporting Supplementary Foundation Information can be found below. If you would like a paper copy, please email email@example.com to request.
The consultation period is six weeks. If you would like to make a comment in support or against this proposal, please write to the Headteacher, Mrs Helen Dixon, at the school address or email firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Friday 29 January 2021, which is the closing date for receipt of comments.
Following this date, the Governing Body will consider all comments and finalise the determined admissions arrangements for 2022/23.
