Christ's students take part in European Festival of Contemporary Music for All

Screenshot 20220307 093434We are delighted that five of our talented music students, who have been working with the prestigious Nonesuch Orchestra, had the opportunity to see their original compositions performed live.

The students have been working with the Nonesuch Orchestra as part of their 'Page to Performance' work with young composers. As part of the programme, last week, the Christ's students attended a workshop in Acton.

On Saturday evening the Nonesuch Orchestra played the students' compositions as part of a concert. All five students, together with Mr Kilroy, family and friends, were there to see their pieces performed live.

On Sunday evening a film of the workshop, attended by our students, was broadcast online as part of the European Festival of Contemporary Music. It's is available to view until early May on their online platform
