Summer picnic 2024

SAVE THE DATE! The POSTPONED PSA Picnic will now be on FRIDAY 13th SEPTEMBER from 5.30pm on the school playing fields. Adult £3 tickets will be on sale from Thursday 22nd August, free registration for students/siblings - link will be e-mailed out to all families, plus new online volunteer sign up rota.

We apologise for any inconvenience cause by the event not happening on the 12th July but look forward to hopefully seeing you at the next event. Tickets are being refunded.

We would love to welcome you to our Summer Picnic, Friday 12th July, 5.30-8pm.

It's a family event for Christ's students, their parents/carers and siblings (and to welcome the new Year 7s starting in September) with entertainment, including live music and talent from students and staff with fun activities for all ages.

Please bring your own picnic, but please do not bring alcohol on site. There will be a fully stocked bar (including beers, wines and Gin and Tonic - plus a non-alcoholic G'n'T alternative) and soft drinks available to raise money for the PSA. There will also be snacks, vegetable samosas and hot dogs for sale. Cash preferred for the 2nd hand uniform sale and the ice cream van! We have lots of benches and tables, but bring rugs/picnic chairs as you wish. Sorry, no pets!

Admittance is strictly by ticket only, available online until midnight Wednesday 10th July. Christ's students and younger siblings are free but must have a ticket each booked with a designated named adult who is also attending and will be fully responsible for them. Adults are £3 each.

Volunteering is a great way to meet other Christ's parents and have fun helping out - there is a wide variety of roles so please do take a look to see what you can offer for an hour or so:

You do not need to buy a ticket for yourself if volunteering for a shift or two but please make sure that any children with you are registered on the ticket site for numbers using the ticket link above.

Donation Appeal

1) Packets of Sweets for Raffle

We are planning a raffle with mega sweet prizes to win, just £1 to enter, card or cash (so bring your coins!). If you are able to contribute any nut-free, unopened and in-date packs of sweets (Haribo/lollipops/Maoams etc), these can be left at the main school reception (until the end of school on Wednesday 10th July).

2) Pre-loved Uniform

A chance to pass on any outgrown but still good-condition items of Christ's School uniform on the stall. Can be dropped off in advance at reception or brought along on the night.
