Christ's Celebrates GCSE Exam Success

Christ's is celebrating more exam success with outstanding GCSE results. Overall, 74% of students achieved 5 A*-C GCSEs including English and Mathematics with 28% of students achieving A*-A grades.

There were particular successes in English Language, Spanish, Statistics, Religious Education, Art & Design and Physical Education.

Helen Dixon, Head Teacher said "I would like to congratulate all of our students on these fantastic results. We are delighted with their achievements. It is particularly pleasing to see that our relentless drive for excellence is paying dividends. These results are a credit to our students’ hard work, the quality and commitment of all of our staff and the strong relationships that exist between the School and home".

“We are particularly delighted with the outstanding results of Dragomir Argirov and Nazmus Karim who both achieved 7 A*s and 3 As, Sebastian Castedo with 7 A* and 4 As and Emma Woodward and Michael Whitmore with 5 A*s and 5 As each.”

These results come a week after Christ’s celebrated its inaugural A Level results where 19% of students got A*-A and 54% of students achieved A*-B grades. These results mean all students will be going to one of their top two university choices.

Ruth Martin, Chair of Governors at Christ’s School applauded the efforts and hard work of the students, staff and governors and thanked parents for their continued support for the school and their children’s education.
