Christ's School Needs You!

Every year the Governing Body at Christ's strives to ensure that the school site continues to be a welcoming, safe and modern environment for our students that is conducive to their learning and well-being. However, maintenance of the school, grounds and facilities is very expensive and responsibility for this lies with the school.

The current cost of living crisis has meant a squeeze on state funding and cuts to education grants which is having a huge impact on schools. At Christ’s School, in order to maintain our current high standards, and ensure that our students benefit from a first class learning environment, the school needs parental support more than ever before.

In recent years we have relied upon the generosity of parents making regular contributions to our Governor Fund. These funds have provided new picnic benches where our students can relax at break and lunch times. We have added a new long jump facility, invested heavily in theatre-quality lighting and sound in all our main hall spaces and, most importantly for our students, completely refurbished the toilet facilities in the main block.

In order to ensure that we are able to continue with both enhancing and essential works we are asking families to make a financial donation to the school. We will gratefully receive all donations, however big or small. Regular and larger donations enable us to make longer term, more ambitious plans whilst smaller, one-off donations help with the continual maintenance of the school.

Our Governor Fund is a registered charity and donating is easy. Simply scan the QR code below to get started. Thank you!
