Appeals

If your child has been refused a place at your preferred secondary school, you may appeal the decision of the admissions authority. Your reasons for appealing will then be considered by an independent panel.

Appeals resulting from applications for admission to Year 7 for September 2022 will be heard according to the following timetable:

Appeals lodged after 19 April 2022 will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being received, whichever is the later date.
