You can now apply for entry into Christ's School Sixth Form in September 2018.  Applications are submitted online through the UCAS Progress website by clicking here

All students who apply to the sixth form will be invited, with their parents, to have an interview at the beginning of the Spring term.


Entrance Criteria 2017 - 2018

Entrance for A Levels

Minimum 5 GCSE Grade A*-C or 5-9 plus Grade B/6 in the subjects you want to study.

  • Grade 7-9 for Maths
  • Grade 8-9 for Further Maths
  • Grade 6 English Language and English Literature to study English Lit at A Level
  • Grade B in the Science Module you wish to study

Entrance to BTEC Level 3

Minimum 5 GCSE Grade A*-C or 5-9 plus keen interest in the subject area you want to study.

Progression from Year 12 to Year 13

3 Grade D at AS or end of Year Exams.

In July precedning your entry, induction activities will be arranged for all students who have applied to our Sixth Form. The days will involve a number of activities supporting student interests that will link with future studies or career ideas. A formal induction week will take place in September.
