Welcome to Christ's Sixth Form

You should only complete the information on this page once you have confirmed your place in the Sixth Form and agreed you subjects with Mr Butler.

In order to complete your registration for the Sixth Form at Christ's School you must complete both a Registration Form and Learning Agreement. These must be completed before the first day of term on Friday 4 September.

Please click on each of the following links to complete and submit the forms for Registration and the Learning Agreement.

Please bring a signed copy of the Learning Agreement to school on the first day of term. Any uncompleted forms will result in a delay to your enrolment.

At Christ's School we offer an extensive programme of Enrichment activity. In order to enable us to continue to offer and develop these outstanding opportunities, we ask for a contribution of £30 from each student. Payment can be made via Scopay. you can read more about the Enrichment Programme here.

In addition, there are a number of other costs that students can expect to incur whilst studying at Christ's, including locker hire, printing and photocopying costs and subject specific activity costs. Full details of these can be found in our Non Essential Resource Cost Guide.

16-19 Bursary Fund

The 16 to 19 Bursary fund is a scheme made available from the government through the Department for Education for 16-19 year olds - to provide assistance to students whose access to, or completion of, education is inhibited by financial constraints or barriers.

There are two types of 16 to 19 bursaries:

  1. Vulnerable bursaries of up to £1,200 a year for young people in one of the defined vulnerable groups

  2. Discretionary bursaries that institutions award to meet individual needs (discretionary bursaries are targeted on students who cannot stay in education without financial help for things like transport, meals, books and equipment)

To find out if you qualify for the bursary and how to apply, please read Christ’s School 16-19 Bursary Fund Policy. If having read the Policy you would like to apply for a bursary, please print and complete the Bursary Fund Application Form and return it to Mr Butler, together with the required supporting documentation.

Dress Code

Dress code plays an important role in contributing to the ethos both of the Sixth Form and also of the wider school. An independent and mature approach to learning is one of the key aims of the Sixth Form and a responsible dress code is one way of achieving this.  The dress code should allow students to express themselves as individuals, but in an appropriate way. Please read and ensure that you adhere to the Sixth Form Dress Code at all times.
